“I know every time I am sitting in a client session – no matter how difficult of a story we are walking through together – I am doing exactly what I am meant to do.”

Hey, I’m Ashley and I am so glad you found us!

Being a therapist is my professional hat but the curiosity, interest, and true desire to connect with others permeates into all areas of my life. I am a mom with a fun and thoughtful son, and a tenacious and hilarious daughter. I also wear the hat of wife, daughter, big sister, and friend. I love to move my body whether it’s running, riding, yoga, pilates, or lifting weights and you can often find me with my nose in a book (or e-reader)! Above all else though, I am just me, another human just trying to engage in good self care and continue this forever journey of building a solid relationship with myself!

I have been working in private practice since 2014. I am a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. I hold an Honours BA in Psychology and Sociology from Western University, and a Masters’ of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. I am in good standing with the OAMHP, and work collaboratively with supervisors, colleagues, and various health and wellness professionals.

I am certified in Maternal Mental Health from Postpartum Support International (PSI), and have my Level 3 Integrative Somatic Parts Work certification.

I have worked extensively over the years in maternal and parental mental health support, worked with clients through anxiety and mild depression, relational support, and life transitions. Additional areas of support I offer are body image challenges, family struggles, workplace stress, and general coping issues.

I work from an integrative approach pulling in multiple forms of psychotherapy into sessions such as mindfulness, self-compassion, internal family systems, cognitive behavioural therapy, trauma-informed psychotherapy, and parts and body work. I focus on integrating the whole health of the body into the health and treatment of the mind.
